Summary

Collectively, our results showed that both NMN and NR effectively protected HeLa cells against cisplatin-induced DNA damage. The two compounds have similar effect on enhancing cell viability, replenishing intracellular NAD+ and scavenging intracellular ROS. Interestingly, we found that NR might have a better protective (preventive) effect against cisplatin-induced DNA damage than NMN.
